Wallace Wattles (1860-1911)
While it is difficult to discover much about Wallace Delois Wattles' life, it is known that he was born in the United States in 1860. And that he initially lived a life consisting of failure, defeat and poverty.
But then latter in his life, after studying, practicing and applying the principles that he writes about in his books he turn his life completely around.
In the preface to The Science of Getting Rich, perhaps one of the greatest books ever written, Wallace Wattles advises us to limit our study (as he must have himself) to "the monistic theory of the universe – the theory that One is All, and that All is One; that one Substance manifests itself as the seeming many elements of the material world.
This theory is of Hindu origin, and has been gradually winning its way into the thought of western world for three hundred ...
