Pastor Melissa Scott is the Pastor of the Los Angeles University Cathedral in downtown Los Angeles. Pastor Scott became the full-time Pastor of the Protestant congregation upon the death of her husband, Dr. Gene Scott, in February 2005. Pastor Scott can also be seen teaching on TV and the Internet. Pastor Scott is known for her extensive teaching of the Bible that includes revealing original Biblical text of the Hebrew, Greek and many other languages.

In the pattern of her late husband, Pastor Scott employs a research-laden approach to affirming the promises of God as set forth in the Christian Bible. She tends to avoid the legalistic diatribe of many TV evangelists to focus on the application of historical scripture to today's life. In this regard, Pastor Scott has been viewed by many as revolutionary in her approach to uncovering historic truths of the Bible.

She can be seen 24 hours per day via streaming audio and video on her web site and frequently during the week on the PAX / ION channels and other local TV channels.

Pastor Scott is not perfect, yet God is using her!
Dr. Scott was not perfect, yet God used him.
I've come to see what a fascinating thing it is when God uses imperfect people to do his work.
I personally was called and taught through Herbert W. Armstrong in the Worldwide Church of God and he was not perfect yet God used him.
I have seen many over the years throw stones at these people and condemn them for their imperfections and mistakes, yet I can testify to the fact that all three mentioned above have allowed me to grow in the grace, knowledge, and faith of Christ.
I stand as a witness that God knows what he is doing when he uses imperfect people.
You accusers will face a harsh reality one day when God reminds you that it is written "who are you to judge another man's servant? Before his Master he stands or falls"
For me I find it so exciting to see the work that God is doing through and to Pastor Melissa Scott, so many people have been blessed to have been encouraged by her diligent work. And it’s just the beginning!
I find it so amazing and unfathomable how God is glorified when he uses imperfect people for his glory!
But I admit that God has to give you eyes to see, otherwise you just won't get it!

What a great God we have!

Randy

Temptation is consistantly on the move. I admit that when i hear derogatory comments about Pastor M Scott; I am tempted very much to lash out! But that would make me a Barrabas, son of a Priest. Barrabas killed Roman soldiers to become hero to the people, in the interim, he may have lost his own soul. I've listened to Pastor Scott's sermons/classes for one year and I share with all who will listen. Pastor Scott has strengthened my inner soul and has taught me the true meaning of the FULL ARMOR OF THE LORD. The cemeteries are full of graves (Dr Scott preached it, lived it, lives yet still within our hearts)! And for that, I respected him as a Pastor. Pastor Melissa Scott is the coolest Pastor I have heard and seen in this lifetime! If you can't keep up with her interpretations...try harder next time! I AM certain you will receive a message beyond your own beliefs! She is strict and stands firm in the WORD. I love her more, for that! The second commandment!

My grandmother had a name for such people with foul language; but I won't use it because my grandmother taught me to respect or have reverence for the LORD first and foremost. To you, it was such that she would have grabbed you by your big ears, to match your big mouth and washed your mouth out with soap! You have no business saying unkind words to anyone. I could say you drink gutter water; but I won't. I'll use my sword and beg you to look up PROVERBS 28:5. Who am I kidding, perhaps you do not even own a Bible. Then, I will have to oblige you:

"Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it fully." Proverbs 28:5

Look it up ole chap, there might still be hope for you, too!

PROVERBS 8:13 TO FEAR THE LORD IS TO HATE EVIL; I HATE PRIDE AND ARROGANCE, EVIL BEHAVIOR AND PERVERSE SPEECH.

TELL IT THE LORD, OLE CHAP!

KEEP YOUR TONGUE FROM EVIL AND YOUR LIPS FROM SPEAKING LIES.

PASTOR SCOTT DESERVES ALOT MORE RESPECT, LEST YOU WERE SPEAKING TO ME---THEN I'D ADVISE, SOME HOLY WATER MAY DO YOU SOME "GOOD"!

I really appreciate Pastor Melissa Scott's teachings. I learn so much from them. I wish that she would have an online bible study, because I would pay for it. I like her ministry. I listen to her often here in Lexington, KY. I would love to meet her in person, to tell you how much I appreciate her. I watched her and her husband together. What a joy it was to hear her sing and then he joined in. I wish that she would travel and make herself more known so that more people could learn about the Bible, and learn how to apply the word of God in our daily life of Christian living.

Sincerely,

Ronda / Lexington, KY

Dr, Scott
I would like to request that you please do a subject study on the origin of the Bible, and also shed some light on the subject of the first tribes on earth.
I watch your show from Indiana and enjoy it very much.
Thank You.

Growing together to learn even "new" things of what the Lord expects of us, to become "worthily" is something "grand". You know...:"Grande"! My family respects Pastor Melissa Scott because Pastor Scott continues to "seek wisdom" and the Lord said: "SEEK ME, AND YE SHALL FIND ME". Pastor Scott said: "We grow together". I agree, I would pay for her online classes.

John the Baptist is my cousin. (Don't get scared!)
John is my cousin and he's a Baptist Preacher.

My Uncle Antonio is a Christian Pastor.

My Uncle Philip, a Christian Pastor.

My Uncle Henry, a Jehovah Witness Pastor.

Growing up catholic, then converting to Christianity has made my love grow, in Christ. I am sorri to the above whom i said had big ears/big mouth. I know better than to be tempted even in defending a Pastor. I still listen to Pastor Scott even though there are many who are chosen to lead in anothers mentorship, in the LORD.

Food for thought: IN GOD "WE" TRUST
(If our ancestors went to a higher level to engrave these important words, they surely "united" as "One In Christ")

In my own heart, it is when we all join together as
"One in Christ" in which true love exists.

In olden days, people would have scripture engraved on their tombstones. "Revelation X1V:13 "...and their works do follow them."

Thanks again, Pastor Scott...GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

Right behind ya. When we join together as "One in Christ" - just as when the lights went out in 3 states just a few years back in the U.S. People were walking together and no one asked,"what religion are you"!!! They were "walking" in total darkness; there was no light for hours and hours! Keep researching Pastor Scott - we like you just as you are, your natural self.

Please advise me on how I see Pastor Scott message from last night again (Tues, June 17, 08). I love to listen to her, watch her, but often I need to see it again. Last night she was answering questions that I have been asking, and she opened the door to more questions due to her confidence about rapture.

Luke 21:33) "Heaven and Earth shall pass away: but my "Words" shall "not" pass away".

There was a woman could not see due to blindness. Another could not write her own name. Imagine "you" can hear, see, speak, walk, and you can also write...different languages and interpret to others who... "are seeking God's righteousness". Now, imagine Melissa Scott, Pastor-

Someone who gives "hope" to others who cannot see. To those who cannot hear, speak, or walk or have what is called "freedom", but someday they will walk through the pearly gates of heaven. Those are the promises of Jesus Christ; when we walk in God's righteousness.
Melissa Scott, the one known as a Pastor, comes as the Roaring Sea in a Storm; she calms the sick through the airways, the internet, to all who watch diligently. Preaching the Word of GOD and Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. "Freedom" in the scriptures means "free to sin, no more". The "rapture" -spiritual stand ready preparedness. Natural Disasters are written in scripture; Believe from your heart to do good;

(John 18:8-10)

Fact: Perhaps, my mother was the most beautiful woman in the world. She spoke with a beautiful French accent. She taught me many different languages. Crossing over, in death, she instructed: "I have taught you many languages and you have seen the power of Our LORD, Jesus Christ". Share the gift of speech with others, in Christ. Do not concern yourself that you may be called names. Continue your life, as I have taught you, in love and respect for others. Respect their beliefs, as well as your own, first and foremost. Believe in Jesus, that you and I will meet in the Heavens...one day".

My mother preached about the rapture. A woman of faith who gave respect to Pastor Scott.
