Pastor Melissa Scott's Kevo

Pastor Melissa Scott is awesome!!! She's the best Bible teacher on the planet. The only person better was Dr. Gene Scott. However, I believe she will even surpass him one day. She already displays a greater sensitivity to the audience and provides more understanding to those of us who didn't grow up in the church. Dr. Scott was such a genius, I think sometimes he was too smart for the average listener. I miss him, but thank God for Pastor Melissa Scott.

Yes she is one awesome teacher of the Bible! In depth of the Word of GOD and she goes DEEP and that is what children of GOD need. The WHOLE body of CHRIST does not need to be on the MILK of the Word, they need to graduate to the MEAT of the Word of GOD and GROW UP! Learn while we can and she is one teacher that can help get it in the head of the believer! Preach it sis!

Listening to Pastor Melissa Scott and Dr. Gene Scott is like attending a graduate level course in Christianity. Her program is one of the few, if not the only, sane programs on television.

What a blessing she is to those of us who are thirsty for the Word of God.

I found her on channel 38 in the Chicago land reagon late one night when I was unable to sleep. I was amazed at her grasp of both Hebrew, and Greek languages. I was in awe at the way she was able to explain the meaning of the name of Caleb. And how amazingly God put everything together to the most intricate detail. Things interwoven in such a matter that still has my head spinning. Even my 34 year old son told me a similar story of how he accidently found her late at night and was so in awe of her knowledge, that he wished the Sunday sermons in his church were as educational as her teaching was that night.
May God continue to bless her and the ministry as she continues to be a blessing to others.

A Holy Message is a Holy Message is a Holy Message! She stands firm in the LORD, delivering the Holy Message to millions of lost souls. I don't elevate her, I respect her more! I don't look at her all the time on the screen; I listen! It is then in which I hear the shepherds voice-"in the Words of the LORD JESUS" through her inner soul. (Too deep for ya, she's deeper!)

I loved Dr Gene Scott's Messages, too. I love them both, still.

I have just learned that people are talking unfavorably about Melissa and my reaction was to pray heartily that whatever is going on with her, we cannot let such an inspired teacher lose her audience. I believe that stumbling onto her message late at night truly saved me and could save many others like me. One thing that made me open up to her message was that she was NOT someone who was always christian. She alluded to having things in her past, I didn't know what, but it made me think that if she could be saved, so could I. That is so important! Maybe she is not a perfect christian, I am so much more thankful that she's not and that she struggles as well. God called her, and for very good reason, to deliver His messages to sinners. And I've never seen anyone with so much intelligence and passion. She is unique because of her questions and her need for proof, thats what makes her so convincing. She doesn't just tell us that God is there waiting, she proves it. I am not surprised that the devil would lust for her, she is a great force in saving people.

Thank God for a teacher like her, that can bring the message in detail, and simplicity. I stay up late to listen to her, and she delivers the word of God in ways, that no one else can do.
I attend a Messianic Synagogue, and also enjoy learning from a Rabbi, who also gives depth to the meaning of God's word, by teaching from a Jewish view of the scriptures, and with Pastor Melissa Scott teaching, and giving the meaning of the words , is so enlightening. I am that one who you speak to and reach out to.Keep up your good work for our precious Lord, God is with you, God bless and God speed.

I'm of two minds about Melissa Scott. But what she says is actually orthodox Christianity. I've tried to find out about her background but all I can find is a couple of naughty pictures of her from her days in the porn film industry. She apparently has no academic credentials, but so what? The message of Christ does not require a PhD to understand. I've read a lot of really hostile and derogatory remarks about her. What I've managed to glean so far is that she was born in Italy, the daughter of a Canadian gangster. She's had a colorful life, to be sure-- but who better to understand the nature of good and evil, and the cure that Christianity can effect in an individual life.

A wolf in sheeps clothes. Many preachers claim to be called but I warn even Lucifer can come as an "Angel of Light". One only needs to refer to I Timothy to see that she is not qualified to be a preacher. The Office of Pastor or Bishop is open only to men. "The husband of one wife" how can a woman be a husband. Paul also tells us (in Timothy) that a woman is not to take authority over the man, but to be in silence. This contradicts a calling a woman may feel she has. I know being from the South we are some times more conservative than other parts, but the Bible is clear in this case.

Like many of you, I found her on late nite t.v. Rather, God led me to her. I was entranced. So many admirable qualities. A beautiful lady who can speak well and is so obviuosly blessed with the words of the Lord. My goodness!! I add her to my prayers.. and of course her ministry. I Need to start recording her. I love her sermons.. teachings.

Reverend C.: Whether from the south, the north, the east, the west: Theologians didn't all agree on everything and people don't always agree on everything, but a wolf in sheeps clothing, I won't believe!

Reverence to the Lord, first and foremost:
Our christian families believe in Pastor Scotts teachings, in Christ, as we shared what we learned, together. The Lord said He seeks the Hearts of those who "seek" Him. Therefore, where there's a teacher, there's a student. Where there's a student, there's sharing of spiritual beliefs. At the end of a semester, we all appreciate the teacher. The next semester, we go on to the next class....the next teacher.

Yes, we were students! Pastor Scotts teachings were much appreciated. We thank her, for her kindness in gratitude and respect.
