Her boyfriend is suspected of distributing the footage illegally and has fled to Dubai to avoid a death sentence for having done so. I am thinking about the strength of Iranian women and will defend the respect of the girls and women of my nation."	+	The actress is well known in Iran for her role in the popular Iranian soap opera Narges, as a pious young woman.

-	The lady will most likely be stoned (or "lashed") in the middle of the public square if found guilty. The man, of course (if the sex tape is actually real,) will go unpunished, but humbly admit to having been seduced by her beauty.	+	In 2006 Ebrahimi became the centre of an Iranian sex tape scandal when a videotape of a woman having sex with another man was leaked to the internet and released on DVD. She subsequently became the subject of an official investigation handled personally by Tehran's hard-line chief prosecutor, Saeed Mortazavi, and may face fines, public lashing or worse for her violation of Iran's morality laws.

-	Note that she is denying having tried to commit suicide because mostly the stoning punishment is referred to as "committed suicide."
