Richard Gablick was born in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania just outside of the
Pittsburgh area. The youngest of five children, Richard’s early childhood
was spent in poverty. Richard would study art and music through his high
school years to escape the hardships of a single parent family trying to make ends meet.

Richard studied voice at Point Park College in Pittsburgh and sound
recording at Pro Rangers Studios. He later formed his own studio recording band IN2 THE MYSTIC which currently is recording new music for films.

Gablick began studying film at College of Santa Fe in 2005. He would also
study media arts and film crew classes at Santa Fe Community College. In
2006 Gablick was a clown in the short film CLOWN IN TROUBLE. The
film would win Best Comedy at The Santa Fe Reporter 3 Minute Film
Festival. In 2007 Gablick directed and produced the film MORNING
EMBRACE a short music film that was selected for the New Mexico Film
Expo and later nominated in the Santa Fe Film Festival 2007. In 2008 VIDA Gablick's new film was nominated in the Earth Spirit Love Film Festival in which it won Most Watched Video, Richard’s film VIDA along with MORNING EMBRACE are currently being submitted to film festivals around the world.
