JOHNNY RAMIREZ
Johnny Ramirez is a talented colorist working in Beverly Hills at The Chris
McMillan salon. He is a native of East L.A., and a specialist in ‘California’
hair: subtle, versatile and beachy.
He is at once low key and fearless, a master of natural, graduated, softly
composed highlights and of color corrections that many others would be unwilling
to tackle.
Inspired by his 3 year old daughter’s perfect sun-kissed hair, he aims to
recreate the best version of organic, true hair color. The ‘golden’ boy of
highlights, he likes to play with a palette of caramel and beige. He executes
each look with artistry and vision in order to create low maintenance, beach
side hair as well as polished and classic color.
Johnny also works with clients who enter the salon with injured hair,
individually prescribing treatment, care and color. To him, hair is never
ruined, just temporarily damaged.
A passionate attitude to hair is essential to all of his work. His expert hands have touched the heads of Nicole Kidman, Virginia Madsen, Selma Blair, Moira Kelly, Gwyneth Paltrow, Denise Richards, Hilary Swank,
